This Privacy Policy explains how MealFlow handles information when you use the MealFlow mobile app. MealFlow is provided by Davut Kilinc, Marktstr. 32, 74363 Güglingen, Germany.

Summary

MealFlow is designed to keep your cooking, recipe, meal planning, pantry, and shopping list information under your control. The app does not sell your personal information, does not use third-party advertising, and does not track you across apps or websites.

Information You Add to the App

MealFlow may store information you choose to add, including recipes, meal plans, pantry items, shopping lists, cooking notes, timers, imported recipe links, and related app settings.

This information is used to provide the app's features, such as saving recipes, planning meals, building shopping lists, and syncing or sharing selected data through Apple services when enabled.

Local Storage and iCloud

MealFlow stores app data on your device. If iCloud sync or sharing is enabled, app data may be stored and synced through Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services under your Apple ID. Apple's privacy terms apply to Apple's handling of iCloud data.

If you share lists or other app content with another iCloud user, the people you invite may be able to view or edit the shared content according to the sharing permissions you choose.

Recipe Importing

When you import a recipe from a website, MealFlow may use the URL and page content needed to extract recipe information. Imported content is used to create or update recipe records in the app.

Apple Intelligence and On-Device Features

Some app features may rely on Apple system capabilities available on your device, such as text processing, speech recognition, notifications, or Apple Intelligence features where supported. Availability depends on your device, system settings, region, and Apple's platform rules.

Contact and Support

If you contact support, we may receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, screenshots, device details, and diagnostic context. We use this information only to respond to your request and improve support.

Tracking, Advertising, and Analytics

MealFlow does not use third-party advertising and does not track you across apps or websites. The app is configured not to collect tracking data for advertising purposes.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only when needed to provide app functionality, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or respond to a request you make.

Data Retention

App data remains on your device and, if enabled, in your iCloud account until you delete it, remove the app, turn off iCloud sync, or delete the relevant iCloud data. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed to handle support and recordkeeping.

Your Choices

You can edit or delete app content inside MealFlow.
You can manage iCloud settings in iOS Settings.
You can stop sharing content with other iCloud users through Apple's sharing controls where available.
You can contact us to ask questions about support messages you have sent.

Children's Privacy

MealFlow is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International Users

Your information may be processed in the country where you live and in other locations where Apple or service providers operate. If you use iCloud, Apple's iCloud terms and infrastructure apply.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of MealFlow after an update means you accept the updated policy.
